Jonesy Goes to the Movies: Up
This afternoon I had the pleasure of watching Pixar’s latest film, Up. Anyone who knows me knows that I am definitely a Pixar fan. That said, who isn’t? This is a studio that time and time again puts out wonderful movies that people of all ages can enjoy and Up is no exception.
The movie’s ads just don’t do a great job of selling the movie. You can’t really get a...

Letter to Microsoft
Dear Microsoft,
In regards to your product Internet Explorer, I would like to officially file a complaint. I have been developing websites for almost a decade now and I’m quite good at it. I know my stuff and I almost always code my pages in a compliant way. This leads me to the complaint… Why the hell can’t you make a browser that interprets HTML and CSS correctly. I’ve...

Swine Flu
OK seriously, if I hear anymore about the damn swine flu I’m going to punch someone in the face. Do you know what the swine flu is? It’s the flu. Its not a pandemic or even that serious. The world should be more concerned about a million other things instead of this stupid flu. Its not really any more potent than the regular flu and it hasn’t killed more people than the average...
Star Wars Deathstar vs. Star Trek Enterprise

Back at work
After taking quite a leave, I am back at my trusty tech job. The pay sucks but I do enjoy it. It’s oddly nice to have a reason to wake up in the morning and leave the apartment.

Basically IMAX is whoring out their brand name and trying to trick people. These new “IMAX” theatres are really just nice digital screens with good sound, but they ARE NOT IMAX, in that they don’t…
This is crap, I’d demand my money back… of course if the building wasn’t like 7 stories tall that might tip one off that it is not a real IMAX

Mojo - OurTunes reborn? →
Who remembers OurTunes? That junkity little java app that allowed you to download songs from shared iTunes libraries on your network that quit working in version 7 of iTunes seems to have a successor. Meet Mojo, I haven’t given it a good looking over yet but it seems to replace OurTunes quite well with a better interface and more features. If anyone tries it let me know how it works.
