Jonesy Goes to the Movies: Our Idiot Brother
I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing a movie in the theatre in about 4 months. I was anxious to see one and my love of Paul Rudd and Zooey Deschanel led me to check out Our Idiot Brother. I thoroughly enjoyed it. There plenty of laugh-out-loud funny moments and a few touching ones thrown in for good measure. I still stand by that Paul Rudd is one of the funniest actors in Hollywood. He just...

davemorin: As an entrepreneur for most of my life, I’ve always looked up to Steve Jobs. I was fortunate enough to work at Apple for a few years and to learn about technology, design, innovation, and entrepreneurship by being part of the, to put it simply - inspirational - Apple culture. My favorite quote of all time came during my last year at Apple in 2006. During an interview Steve answered a...

– HP spent a ton of money on this thing. And it’s already done. (EDIT: Along with the Pre and their cell-phone business.) That’s it. Big deal. A lot of big news today in HP-land. (via shortformblog) I feel like they’re giving up too soon. There is some great potential with WebOS and to throw...

– Good Magazine senior editorial designer Dylan C. Lathrop • Taking both designers and The Huffington Post to task after HuffPo held a contest to have people redesign its logo for its politics section. Now, HuffPo isn’t the only publication to ever do this — but the problem is, they’re a very...

New, new, new.
New apartment, new car, new job, everything is new. It’s a whole new life. I’m readjusting to the American life now but it’s just so different yet so familiar it almost feels like a dream. I can’t wait to be completely done moving things (I’m done, but Abby’s got another load or two) and then beyond that, finally get out of these boxes. It’s rather...

That Grown Up Feeling…
I’m back in the States and settling into a new apartment with Abby. We’re in a complex full of adults, with real jobs and it’s starting to become clear we too are adults. I’ve really been feeling an awful lot more grown up as of late and It’s a bittersweet feeling. Part of me really longs for those carefree days of college but the other part of me is excited to start...

UX overhaul for Firefox →
gidogeek: Let’s hope they release this UX overhaul sooner rather then later. Looks stunning. An improvement over the current Firefox but really feels like a cheap rip-off of Chrome.
