Hulu Eyeing Authentication, Requiring Cable | NY... →
popculturebrain: According to the Post, Hulu is considering adding cable authentication to their service. Meaning, in order to watch you’ll need to log in with your cable or satellite provider.  This will no doubt make cutting the cord difficult but should also increase piracy. Good job TV industry. *facepalm* #morons

– Michael Stampfler, former emergency manager of Pontiac, Michigan • Turning against his old gig as the enormously powerful yet unelected city chief, so to speak. Michigan’s emergency manager law has been controversial since it was signed into law by Governer Rick Snyder in 2012.  The law gave new...

Jonesy Goes to the Movies: American Reunion
I had the opportunity to catch a free flick last night. We looked at the options and the only thing we hadn’t seen that we had a remote interest in was American Reunion. This by no means is a high-brow comedy but that’s probably why you’d go to see it anyway. Basically the whole gang from American Pie is back in town for their high school reunion (13 is the new 10 by the way)....

It’d be wrong to trade in my car for a new one so soon, right? That Dodge Dart really looks sharp and is quite well priced… #Dreaming

So just to sum up todays “big news,” a dude who had no chance of becoming president dropped out of the primary race so another dude who has (slightly better but still) no chance of becoming president can be nominated. Yup. That’s about it.

2012 Update from the CEO – Investor Relations –... →
I can’t believe Larry Page is a double space after a period guy. You’d think the CEO of one of the biggest tech companies EVER would realize you don’t do that. *facepalm* Where can I email him, this is ridiculous. It must have been his stupid secretary or intern, right? There’s no way he’s that uninformed… Here’s where it gets really interesting though....

Jonesy Goes to the Movies: 21 Jump Street
I’ll admit I was skeptical when I first heard of this movie. Remaking a (somewhat cheesy) 80s drama into a modern day comedy didn’t seem like it would translate well. It did. It was great. They did a great job of making the film its own while still paying due homage to the old TV series. In fact this isn’t really a remake at all, it’s almost an extension of the original....
