Red Wings
I’ve been a fan of the Wings since the early 90s (a few years before their back to back wins) when I first started getting into hockey. I followed them quite closely up until college at which time my lack of time, the NHL strike and my limited to no access to watching them on TV made me pay less attention. I’ve never stopped liking them or hockey and a combination of things this year has reignited my passion for the NHL and my beloved Wings. I’m not much of a sports fan, especially by guy stereotype standards but I do love a good hockey game. Anyway, the real point of this post was to congratulate the Wings on their 4th straight win tonight. The first time since 1997-98 that they’ve gone 4-0 to open a season. Great job, guys! I look forward to keeping a closer eye on you this year. It’s time for Stanley to come back to Hockeytown!
