Google+
I was delighted to finally get an invite for Google+ today (actually 2 within minutes of each other, go figure). I have to say, it’s very slick, clean and if I had more friends on it, a Facebook replacement for sure. Everything there so far has impressed me. I love the idea of circles, I like their photo viewer with nifty photo details and I love how everything works very well and smoothly. I think Facebook is so overwhelming these days with Apps and ads and a billion different types of requests coming at you. I’m hopeful that Google+ will continue to mature in a very “Google” fashion and keep things simple, elegant and useful. So far I’m very happy with it and I even pulled out the ol’ smartphone and played with the Android app. That is also pretty good looking and easy to use. So if you’re on Google+ look me up.
