Mozilla Building Mobile Operating System to Rival Google`s Chrome OS
What a waste of time and effort. The world doesn’t need this. Firefox has outlived it’s purpose (getting people to realize IE sucks and try something new, that uses standards) and this only shows how out of touch they’re getting. There isn’t room (or a need) for another OS in the mobile space and I’m sure this Mozilla OS isn’t going to be polished enough to take a significant market share from iOS, Android or even WP7, let alone Blackberry and even WebOS. I think they’d be better off spending time and resources concentrating on either making FIrefox usable and relevant again or if they’re really interested in getting in on a mobile OS work with the open source Android (in a lot of ways it could use the extra help).
