I posted a link a few days ago about Walgreen’s selling their own brand of beer for the very affordable price of $2.99 a six pack. Well, I decided to try it last night and brought some along to a Super Bowl party. Turns out it was surprisingly not bad. I fully expected to taste urine but instead it was at least as good as PBR and in my book that’s much better than a lot of beers like Natty Ice or Busch LIght, etc. Anyway, if you’re on a budget (who isn’t these days) this could be a viable option.
